Hell hath no fury like an ex-gal pal.
Samantha Ronson publicly defended Lindsay Lohan against the Queen of the Barbed One-liners this weekend.
Caustic comedienne Joan Rivers slammed the DJ's ex on Twitter Friday in a series of posts referencing the expletive Lohan painted on her nail during her sentencing last week.
"Lindsay Lohan is so dumb," the 77-year-old stand up tweeted. "Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge."
Attacking the troubled starlet's infamous hard-partying history, Rivers also quipped about Lohan's "80 proof" liquid diet.
"Lindsay Lohan had 'F--- you' painted on her nails," she tweeted. "What people don't know is that the judge had 'Eat me you party sk---,' painted on hers."
A few hours later, DJ Samantha Ronson, LiLo's former on-off again girlfriend, took to Twitter to attack the "Piece of Work" star.
"Hey Joan Rivers," she tweeted. "You have collagen older than Lindsay, pick on someone your own age, oh wait I guess people that old can't hear."
The DJ's support did not land on deaf ears. Lohan re-tweeted her ex's message on Saturday and added the note, "thank you ;) I love yams x ."
