
He’s mostly known for his years in the teen-driven “High School Musical” franchise, but Zac Efron is looking to break into new film genres.
The “17 Again” stud has signed on to produce and star in a new yet-to-be-titled comedy film about workplace antics.
And while there still isn’t much in the way of details, Efron will be working with Jason Filardi, who will be writing the script.
In related news, Efron credited his relationship with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens with helping him avoid the pitfalls of fame.
“It helped me through quite a bit. There are myriad distractions to fall into in this business. To have someone to share with and to relate to is a very valuable gift.”
